Late last week we realized that a Mama bird has built a nest inside the beautiful Southern Living (plug plug) door hanger on our front door. And guess what? There are 2 little eggs inside! I'm just short enough that I can't even see them unless I'm standing on my tippy toes, but I had noticed that every time I opened the front door a bird would fly away. It never occurred to me that she was living in there! 
Will held Sophia up to take a look. She exclaimed ME EAT THEM! ....... And she doesn't even like eggs.We decided to let the Mama have her babies on our front door and planned on not using that door for a while, but I'm really bummed because I think the Mama has disappeared. One of our neighbors walked right up to the door this weekend after being told about the bird to "check it out". I'm pretty sure that he scared away the Mama.
