Here's the video I took after dinner on Sophia's birthday.  She wanted to wear that Fancy dress for the special occasion.

Lilly - playing outside

Lilly wanted to play in the sprinklers one day while Sophia was still at school.  She changed into her suit and ran outside.  I grabbed the camera and followed her. She didn't realize I was taking a video and I think she was simply posing for me.  Ha ha ha.

Here's another quick one.  She was pretending to "burn her butt".

Here's Lilly wrapped in a towel after spending only 1 minute in the sprinklers (above). We went back into the house immediately following this...

Here's Lilly sitting in the sandbox.  Day 1....before the sand got rained on.  Pristine sand.

Here they are playing with a water squirter hopscotch pad that Sophia got for her birthday.  A favorite!

This is the new swimming suit I got Sophia for her birthday.

Sadie, just relaxing after a long day.

Sophia, still in love with her Lamby after 6 years.

Lilly, striking a pose for the camera (notice the purse around her shoulder!)

Sophia's first 100-piece puzzle done at home.  She did one at school before, but not at home. Lilly and I helped.

More birthday party pictures.

Here's a link to some more photos from Sophia's birthday party.  share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AaMmrNk0ctWLyQ

Summer's 4th birthday party

Summer is our neighbor and she may be in Lilly's class next year.  She had her party at the Bounce House.  The girls had so much fun.  Sophia keeps asking me to go back.  She really thought I would take her on her actual birthday.  She was a bit presumptuous.

Lilly was grinning from ear to ear the whole party.

She's mastered this tricycle and it's too small for her!  She needs a real bike with training wheels now.  When we were at Toys R Us shopping for Sophia's birthday presents I put her on a 12 inch bike it was a perfect fit for her.

I just wonder if I should get the 14 inch bike.  We didn't try one of those. Guess we'll have to go back and look again.

Mia and Sophia

Taken at a playdate at our house a few weeks ago.  This was the night of the big sleepover.  Sophia's first!

Mia's dad has been in different states this school year doing his final training for the CIA.  His graduation took place in Maryland a few weeks ago and Mia's mom asked if she could spend the night with us so she didn't have to miss school on Thursday.  Mia usually comes home from school with us on the Wednesday nights that we have Girl Scouts, so it was no problem for her to stay over that night.

The girls fell asleep around 9:30 which isn't too bad if you ask me.  But getting three kids dressed for school the next morning was something!  Mia was worse than my girls about procrastinating everything (eating breakfast, getting dressed, turning off the tv, gathering your school things, etc.)

Sophia is 6!

She turned 6 on Monday. We celebrated her birthday party with her friends on Saturday afternoon at Jungle Golf. Her favorite part was the arcade room. I think she "won" a little bouncy ball...go figure.

Anyway, there were quite a few girls in our group. Lilly had her friend Carlie there to pal around with and Mia also brought her younger sister along.  Riley's older sister, Taylor came along.  Each of the girls did a great job golfing!  They all said they had a blast.
